Bandai Namco will release a free update for the Nintendo Switch port of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO to bring the visuals in line with the Nintendo Switch 2 version, and have also released a trailer comparing the game before and after.

By downloading the update and playing on Nintendo Switch 2, owners of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO on Nintendo Switch will be able to play against native Switch 2 owners, as well as other Switch players that also have the update. Switch owners without the update can only play against other Switch owners without the update.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Steam, and is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 14, 2025.
