Sunsoft has announced a modern port of their 1990 City Hunter game. Clouded Leopard Entertainment is publishing the game in Asia, while Red Art Games is publishing it in North America and Europe. The game will support English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, French (including the localized “Nicky Larson” version), German, Italian, and Spanish.

City Hunter was originally released on March 2, 1990 on the PC Engine, and is the only officially licensed City Hunter game. Check out the announcement trailer below:

City Hunter launches worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series (digital only), Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam on February 26, 2026. A Collector’s Edition is in the works, and Red Art Games’ physical pre-orders open on September 26.
