Bandai Namco has announced that they are continuing their endeavor to do literally anything with Dragon Ball except port Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle or the actual Dragon Ball Heroes by revealing a new experience for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: a visual novel.

In this new story, “Heart-Pounding Patrol with Cheelai & Broly!?”, Cheelai and Broly have come to Conton City, and the Time Patrol is tasked with assisting them in their defense of the city. As you progress through the story, you’ll “uncover hidden sides of them.”

In all seriousness, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – Future Saga Chapter 3 is coming soon. It is implied that Broly (Dragon Ball Super) will be a playable character, and an Ultra Supervillain form for Frieza was teased.
