Aiming announced that the Japanese version of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Battle Chronicle will receive an offline version after the game’s end-of-service on September 29, 2025. The offline version will only be available on smartphones; PC and PlayStation will be shut down completely.
The offline version of DanMachi: Battle Chronicle supports the following modes:
- Quest: Story Battles, Score Attack, Training, Daily Quests, Upgrade Quests, Growth Quests, Abyssal Exploration
- Events: Some Recollections will be added at a later date.
- Gacha: All characters except Xenia Soldier: Lyd can be obtained via gacha. Lyd will be a Score Attack reward. Rerolls will be available after the tutorial.
- Miscellaneous: Upgrade, Exchange, voices for CP Rank rewards, Player Information, Encyclopedia, Inventory, various settings, Gacha History
The following modes will not be supported:
- Quest: Story Episodes, United Final Battle (certain UFB difficulty levels will be incorporated into Score Attack), Uncharted Battlefield
- Arena: Magic Stone Scramble, Battle Arena
- Shop: Purchase of Selas, Daily Potato Popper Pass, and Daily Selas Pass
- Gacha: Any gacha that require Selas or tickets
- Character: voices in Bond Episodes
- Exchange: Everything currently available. Exchange will be completely revamped, and it will be possible to exchange Valis for upgrade materials, gacha tickets, battle items, etc.
- Options: Help, Inquiries, Account Linking, Code Entry, Block List, Link with PSN, Credits
- Other: Familia, Chat, Announcements, Presents, Battle Pass, Challenge Missions, Beginner Welcome Missions, N and R rarity Scene Cards
DanChro Offline can be played with or without transferring existing data, but those who wish to transfer their data must do so by linking their account before service ends and transferring their data to the offline version before October 15.
The following data can be transferred:
- Player Rank
- Valis
- Owned characters and scene cards (excluding N and R rarity cards)
- Various materials, consumables, bonds, boxes, and titles (Potato Poppers, Entry Tickets, and Reminiscence Bookmarks cannot be used, but will stay in your Inventory)
- Game play progress
The following data cannot be transferred:
- Selas and Gacha that require Selas (free Selas will be converted to DanChro tickets, offline-exclusive gacha items)
- All current gacha tickets
- Items not received from the Gift Box
- Party presets
- Home Screen Situation information
- Magic Stone Scramble and Battle Arena results
- Familia information
- Block List
- Login bonuses (DanChro offline will have its own login bonuses)
The offline version of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Battle Chronicle launches for Android and iOS on September 29, 2025. It will only be available in Japan.
