A Letter To Our Community

To The Hidden Ones community,

Since officially revealing our game and announcing the pre-alpha playtest, we have received a swell of amazing feedback from future players. I want to sincerely thank you for your love and support which has granted us faith and strength in developing The Hidden Ones. 

Because we aim to deliver a quality pre-alpha experience, we are taking the feedback provided and pairing it with some internal decisions to further develop the playtest experience – thus, postponing our test start date to February 27, 2025. By spending a bit more time developing our test build, we hope to deliver a more refined state and closer to what we really want to achieve in this first public playtest of The Hidden Ones.

While we are working hard on improving the overall test experience, we want to specifically tackle the following aspects:

• Localization: We are paying extra attention to the quality of localization of in-game texts and scripts to make sure various regions have an effortless grasp of The Hidden Ones lore. 
• New tutorials: We want to review and revamp our new introduction process to help players better understand the game mechanics and begin to master the combat. 
• Overall content quality: To ensure your best first impression of the game, we will further invest in implementing optimizations that will elevate the experience.

We sincerely apologize for postponing the pre-alpha playtest. We want to practice the essential spirit of The Hidden Ones: attention to detail with years of practice is one of the keys in becoming a Martial Arts Master. With that said, we want to make our first official appearance among the players community displaying this spirit through a mind-blowing and fulfilling experience even in pre-alpha – worthy of the 2-year wait since our first tease of the game.
