Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Adds 9 New Characters, Stages, and More This Summer

New characters, costumes, stages, and more.

Bandai Namco revealed a new trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, confirming that 9 new characters will be added to the game:

  • Super Saiyan Bardock
  • Demon King Piccolo
  • Super 17
  • Devilman
  • Grandpa Gohan
  • God of Destruction Champa
  • Mercenary Tao
  • Zangya
  • Pikkon

Additionally, the game will add new Super Attacks, stages, and more, including:

  • A new team attack for Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta
  • A new costume and Ultimate Blast for Super Saiyan 2 Teen Gohan, based on Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound
  • Kame House

In a showcase video, producer Jun Furutani revealed that Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will add two modes in a free update: Mission 100 on January 26, and Survival in Spring 2026.

The Switch and Switch 2 versions will receive all the entire Season Pass by Summer 2026.

The new Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO DLC launches Summer 2026 for PS5, Xbox and Steam, and later for Switch 1 and 2. The base game is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
